Great photos - love the one of the snake and the llamas. Were the latter wild or pack animals having a break? The limit of tourist number must make a huge difference to your enjoyment of the site. Less overcrowding. I remember waiting 10 minutes in Borobodur for people to get out of the way of a photo I wanted to take and I was less than 6 feet away from the buddha! Cool hat!

Hey Stephen - just hit your blog for the first time, so going to start following properly now. Will start by reading your posts to date, which I haven't yet had time to do.

Hope you're having a wonderful time!

Hi Stephen,

I don't know if you remember me - I'm an old friend of Miriam & Kevin Morris and lovely Gillian Flower and am sitting in her lovely back garden, reading your blog and looking at your lovely lemon trees!

I think your trip sounds marvellous and so exciting and I shall be reading further avidly.

I leave Sydney tomorrow bound for Hong Kong on the Arcadia where I'm boring everybody to death with opera pops.

All best wishes,

Ian Belsey

Darling Stephen,
Had very little time to spend on internet but thinking of you and your adventures. You will understand in a minute when I explain everything. I boast and brag about my friend Stephen (and they all say that very special man at the book launch and at my mega party) and I say 'yes' thats the one. WELL, just before I left London brother Mark was diagnosed with a brain tumour. A fright for us all. I went off to NZ to be supportive just by being there. Surgery was on Tuesday 17th Feb and he sailed through the lengthy and difficult procedure and he is going home tomorrow Saturday. It is remarkable. The surgeon is sure it is benign and that it was all removed. Such a relief. So, dear Stephen, that has been my focus for the past month. When Ian goes I will read your blog.
Much love and very very happy travels

Dear Stephen,
by the way the last comment was from me - your dear friend Gillian, now sitting under your trees sipping a cocktail and thinking of you and your adventures at sea. Lost of love Gillian
